Goiabada
Similar to the jam, the goiabada is a delicious dessert typical of the territories of the Portuguese language, which has its origins in the colonial period in Brazil, where the Guava fruit used in the preparation of the cake, it was used as a substitute for quince to make jam. Made precisely with Guava, sugar and water, goiabada is easy to prepare, although, of course, the confectionery industry it prerapano different varieties using traditional recipes or revised. In Brazil goiabada is consumed usually with fomaggio Minas taking the poetic name of Romeo and Juliet, but the goiabada is ideal for a delicious breakfast to taste spread on slices of toasted bread or served with fresh cheese. |
