Silpancho
Typical of the Bolivian city of Cochabamba, the silpancho is a delicious dish consisting of rice, potatoes, a slice of breaded meat that occupies most of the pot and a couple of eggs. On the top are then added various ingredients which help to give greater delicacy as a salad of onion and tomato. The basic ingredients, like all the dishes more or less known, may find variations that change based on your personal taste and the place of preparation. Sometimes the meat can be replaced with breaded chicken and, sometimes, to accentuate the flavor, is also used soy sauce. A plate not to be missed for those who went to Bolivia, where you can taste the dish authentic, and it is no coincidence that one of the most famous dishes of the nation. |
