Qwerty Monument
The Qwerty monument is a sculpture in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg and is now a popular tourist destination. Created by Anatoly Vjatkin, the operta is located at the bank of the Iset River, near the city center and was inaugurated on October 5, 2005 as a special project of the festival The Long Stories of Yekaterinburg. Although the project has had no official recognition by local authorities, the Monument Qwerty is still a popular tourist destination: consists of 104 keys made of reinforced concrete on the scale of 30:1, the monument, as well as becoming a point of cultural reference of the modern image of the city, presents the layout of the keys as they are in conventional keyboard, and each button can be improvised as a bench to sit and enjoy the surrounding views. The monument is therefore a work that deserves a visit both for its originality and for the pleasant moments that you can give to visitors.
