Shchi
A popular dish of Russian culinary tradition. Skiing is a variety of nutritious soup, sour taste, the taste of which is due to the use of cabbage during preparation, although not the main ingredient of the dish: sour taste, in fact, may be offered by other plants, such as sorrel or other herbs neutral flavored with pickled cabbage or other vegetables. Skiing is usually prepared in the beef broth, although in the western regions of Russia is also using pork or poultry, and, among other ingredients should be noted, that raw vegetables are added without previous cooking and serving to give the dish a special flavor and, usually, skiing is accompanied by black bread. |
