Considered an icon of Australia and New Zealand, Meat pie is a hearty sandwich of meat the size of the palm of a hand that contains minced meat and gravy, which sometimes is combined with onions, mushrooms or cheese. It is no coincidence that both the Australians and New Zealanders claiming him as a national identity: the meat pie, in fact, is a hearty street food that can be enjoyed during a walk and can be prepared by various types of meat such as meat of cattle, deer, goat, rabbit, pork, poultry, rabbits, sheep, and sometimes kangaroo.
