Bryndzové halušky
Substantial and nutritious, the bryndzové halušky is a national dish of Slovakia, which is made using potatoes, flour, salt, bacon and bryndza, a delicious soft cheese and salty that you get from the milk of sheep typical of Central and Eastern and enriching taste with the flavor of bryndzové halušky. A further sophistication of the plate can be obtained by the addition of milk acid or zinc (Zentyca in Polish), a drink made from the whey of sheep similar to kefir, and it is no coincidence that the dish is presented annually during a food festival that takes place annually in Turecká. |
