Toucinho do Céu
A very delicious delicacy typical of traditional Portuguese cuisine can be enjoyed as a dessert at any time of the day and at every opportunity. Touchinho do céu literally means heaven and bacon is made with shelled almonds, sugar, flour, eggs, water and sugar, so that the cake turns out to be also pleasing to the eye as well as the taste and it is no coincidence that it is well-known and appreciated beyond the borders of Portugal: the touchinho céu do, in fact, is also widespread in southern Andalusia and Sapgna. |
