Roman Theater
Venue for concerts and shows during the summer, the Roman theater of Aosta is an impressive work dating back to the Emperor Claudius. Together amphitheater, located on the same axis, occupies three blocks adjacent to the walls, along the main road of the city, the Decumano maximum, near the Porta Praetoria. The theater building is considered took place a few decades after the founding of the city in 25 BC, in fact, have been found remains of existing buildings.
