Tempio di Sant'Angelo
Also known as the temple, the church of San Michele Arcangelo (or even the church of Sant'Angelo) is one of the oldest churches in Perugia and is definitely a must for anyone who loves history, art and culture and for anyone coming to visit in Perugia. Of circular, the church is internally different elements which designate the pagan origin of the place where now stands the church, such as the altar and the five-pointed star engraved on a stone. The temple, however, is worth a visit especially for the tranquility and a sense of peace that is able to transmit to the pilgrims. |
