Composed of pork, the ciuiga is distinguished by the presence of cooked and mashed turnips that make the food very tasty and irresistible even for gourmets from the most refined palate. Traditionally produced in the towns of Dorset and San Lorenzo in Banale ciuiga is the protagonist of a yearly festival that takes place the first Sunday in November, during which the typical product is valued and sold to tourists. |
