Puppets international museum
Named after Antonio Pasqualino, the puppet museum exhibits several collections of Sicilian puppets and puppets from all over the world. Eight hundred square meters in which they are exposed, as well as puppets, also about three thousand books on the history of puppets and marionettes as well as on the study of popular traditions and many scripts nineteenth-century manuscripts, preserved in the library, a video library that allows you to relive the theater from different cultures and traditions. Inside the museum, though, what is mostly able to give visitors a feeling of the whole magic is undoubtedly the exposure of about three thousand five hundred marionettes, glove and stick and, of course, the puppets Palermo, Catania and Naples. An unmissable destination for those who want to rediscover the wonders of local traditions. |
