Loano has been belonged to the Genoan Dorias family since the 13th century; nowadays, there is a lot of magnificent monuments that embellish the place; these monuments has been built during several centuries. Some restorations has been recently done in the Renaissance fresco paintings of the churches in order to show the original secular masterpieces.
