First town at the east of Imperia, Diano Marina today is one of the most beautiful and renowned town of the Liguria in the West, thanks also to the rebuilding after the earthquake happened shortly before the XX century.
Historic sources go back the foundation before Christ and there are both Roman and Saracen traces.
Famous for the Corpus Domini celebration, for which the town is letterarly covered by red petals, Diano Marina is surely one of the most important touristic destination of the Western Liguria.
