City of art and history, which the Duchy of Ferrara and the Renaissance gave unique beauty, Ferrara is now a wonderful example of cities included in the 'UNESCO. Walking around its streets will meet Renaissance churches of high artistic importance, with their imposing facades, give a particular charm to the city. Worthy of note is certainly the church of Saints Peter and Paul, of ancient origin, the church was rebuilt in the sixteenth century and was later rebuilt in Baroque style by architect Antonio Foschini, the red brick facade is exposed to two orders ending in a gable, while inside there are two niches of tufa statues depicting the saints Peter and Paul and Mary. Inside are the famous altarpiece by Bastianino, a terracotta statue of St. '600 Anthony Abbot and a beautiful choir stalls of walnut.

Continuing our tour we are in front of the church of S. Francis, an old church built in 1494 by 'architect Biagio Rossetti, the imposing red brick facade is punctuated by magnificent awls to the first order and second order with marble floors and are laterlizio. The interior of great harmony is a Latin cross with three naves and eight side chapels.

Another important church is San Giorgio, the oldest temple of Ferrara. The church was rebuilt in the fifteenth century by Biagio Rossetti, who gave it its current appearance. In the front we can see a magnificent bell tower while on the left of the church are the cloisters in the center embellished by a beautiful marble shaft.
