Scolacium Archaeological Park
Scolacium, also known by the names of Scylletium, Scylacium, Scolatium, Scyllaceum, Scalacium or Scylaeium, is an unmissable stop for lovers of history and culture: ancient city of Calabria, where art is surrounded by unspoilt nature, Scolacium had a long history through Greek Brettii, Romans, Byzantines, Saracens, Normans, and you can still find ruins on the Ionian coast in the Gulf of Squillace (CZ) in Roccelletta Borgia in the resort of Santa Maria del Mare in Caminia of Stalybridge, and others in the neighborhoods of Catanzaro Lido and Germaneto.
