Black Forest cake
A delicacy to be enjoyed to conclude with a class a refined dinner or a refined lunch or just to delight your taste buds at any time of the day. Typical and from Germany, the Black Forest cake is a delicious dessert with whipped cream and chocolate which consists of several layers of chocolate sponge cake with whipped cream and cherries between each layer and the other, the cake is then covered all sides with an additional dollop of whipped cream and decorated with candied cherries and chocolate flakes. Spread beyond the borders of Germany, in some countries the cherries are traditionally replaced by sour and, in any case, it is a unique delicacy that looks pleasing to the eye of the guests, in addition to meeting the needs of palates more refined. Furthermore, to make the cake further delicious and tasty can also be added to the Kirschwasser, a cherry liqueur like brandy, which can sometimes be replaced by rum (as required by the traditional Austrian recipe). |
