Calgary Tower
With 191 meters high, the Calgary Tower is an observation tower located in the center of the city, and is a must for travelers to visit one of the most beautiful city in Canada. Originally called the Husky Tower, the tower was open to the public in 1968 and presented as the tallest structure in the city and was renamed the Calgary Tower 3 years later, in 1971. Built on the occasion of the centenary of Federation of Canada and with the intent to promote urban development and the core of the city, the tower today is a very important tourist route of Calgary. |
