Jacob's Ladder
Entirely unique, Jacob's Ladder is a tourist route that is a must for anyone who goes on holiday in Jamestown, if not the main attraction. Jacob's Ladder was built in 1829 and, initially, with the aim to connect Jamestown to the garrison placed on Ladder Hill, and today, with its 699 steps and about 183 meters above sea level, it offers visitors the chance to enjoy a wonderful panorama the capital. In addition, Jacob's Ladder is also home to a sporting event (a timed), which is organized annually and sees people attend from all over the world. |
