Basilica of St. Anne
A fabulous example of religious architecture which represents one of the most important religious monuments of Central Africa by presenting a combination of traditional techniques and innovations in Europe, a union that has made the basilica formidable work. Covered with green tiles, the basilica was built in 1946, whose construction works, however, were interrupted in 1951, and owes its construction to the idea of the bishop of Brazzaville, Biéchy Paul, who sees the need to build a place of worship bringing together Christians of the two districts of the capital, and today it is a destination not to be missed for those who go on holiday in Brazzaville. |
